Off subject a bit, but original me out Illinois, skied Taos too! (Damn, I LOVE THAT AREA!)..AND, on a month long summer CC "road trip", me, my old HD bagger, just as I was leaving out Taos, broke a trans clutch shift release fork, zero clutch! Ride back into town, saw a cop before traffic, "said, "broke clutch, need a Harley dealer fast!..He said "follow me!". Cranked the lights on/siren, took me right the front door, a open shop. Spent 2 days waiting on parts. Some "signs are funny", but sometimes ya get one off yer "Angels".."Da best "sign!"

When I started my auto repair business it was in a high traffic ARCO gas station. I found a sign and put in the window facing out towards the pumps. What it said was....

"Shop lifters will be Merrily beaten to a bloody pulp."

People would knock on the window and some would ask to take a picture of it.

One day I noticed it was stolen.

There was a Muffler shop in Santa Barbara that had the sign....

"No Muff to tough!"

I have a pic of it somewhere, with my sister inlaw and her girl friend posing in front of it.

I was working on a Gradall G3W, many years ago, and there was a decal in the operators cockpit that read, Attention: Read the operators manual before operating. If you cannot read English see your supervisor.
