Whats up with the boat type? Single outboards on hulls that size? Any racing is good racing but ive just never seen these boatand motor packages racing like this. Anyone know of the speeds?

this has been alot more popular in europe. I've seen alot of variations of the bat type boats. this seems to be something evolved from that. I would guess in the 60's at best. a fellow on here from sweeden I belive said "when you have to pay so much for fuel, you start looking for ways to do it with less" to run that circut costs a ton just in travel expences, cheaper eqipment costs leaves more for going to more races. now, how long will it be till they go to twins? fun out

Was there Saturday fishing in the tournament, luckily got out of the marina just before the storms rolled in. Went back down Sunday to hang out at Crabby Bills and watch the race. It was crazy how quickly the one that rolled in the turn went down....

This big twin engine Fountain and Ryan's 30' Skater did a little exhibition style race in between heats to keep the crowd into it.

It was great to see racing back in St. Cloud! Nice little showing of boats and hope to have the P1 guys back in town next year.
