Boat Suggestions / Advise

I sold my 21 Skater I bought it as an impules buy. After going out in a couple of times I knew it was not for me. I live on a large lake but its more like a river.
What I didnt like about the Skater:
Slow speed (30-50) leaning in the turns
unpredictable hop
Un able to turn the boat at low speeds with worring about flipping it

What I did like about the Skater:
the look
the seating
the potential speed
the freeboard

What I would like out of my new boat:
80+ mph really would like 90+
seat at least 4 better if 5
slow speed control
mid speed control
High speed control
I would really like a cat but a v botton is fine
Single outboard or single inboard Big Block
Something about 25' and under

I would like to find some thing used 25k or less.

DO NOT POST YOUR BOAT FOR SALE HERE. I am only looking for advice.
Please help me find my new TOY.

I have owned:
17' Action (liked it)
19' Warhawk (luved it)
21 Skater Copy LPB (scared of it)
3 Nautiques
4 90-100 mph Sitdown jet skis. Still own one of these.

Is there any possibility you would go with twins?

21 Liberator, 300 SX. It will hop at certain speeds, I think I saw that Randy (Wildman) had added a whale tail to the cavitation plate to lessen the hop. Seats 5, turns well, 103 mph.

Maybe for the right boat and ride.

Daytona 22? Will have a center pod to help with some of the less desirable traits of the full tunnel.

(not mine just an example)

19-20 Action Marine. Will easily seat 4 (5 if you've got skinny girls in the back seat). Handles well at cruising speeds (no porpoise) Relatively cheap. Will run over 80 mph easily with a stock 200. Much smoother riding than the 17 you previously owned.

Now just need to find a deal on one.... I would luv to buy Mikey's from Finlines only if it had power on it.

Keep an eye on South Florida craigslist. There's usually a few in there.

If you havent thought about a 21 or 24 checkmate would be a great boat with a 300xs they run good and are great everyday boating boats.I had a checkmate a few boats ago and loved it.Had it been a 22 pulsare bowrider I wouldnt havent got rid of it.The 24 is very nice but there still very pricey since they only been out a couple years.

Had on myself. It was a nice boat/fast and did ok in rough water.I got the impression he was more after a all around bat that could run on the big end as well.Dont get me wrong the Grandsport is a great boat and does everything very well.I know had I taken the time to fly back and see it in person I would have gone for a different boat.It just wasnt as big as I needed,I went from a checkmate starflite to the grandsport. When I had them side by side the size difference was huge.I had alot of fun with the GS but for all around boating every day If I had to do it again I would of gone for a Pulsare.
