Anchor shade?

Anyone using an anchor shade for some sun relief, I see some reviews say they are flimsy and a pain to use. Any help or suggestions would be great. I do not want A Bimini top.

I had one in my stingray Vic. Was great but not really made for underway. I was gonna get one for my super. Pretty light and I thought it was pretty well made. Its square so it covered the cockpit pretty well.

All I want is at anchor to get some shade if I take the kids swimming off of the Stoker.

I think its a great idea. I gave mine to a friend when I got a boat with a bimini. He still uses it and thats been 20 years.

We put one on a new HackerCraft. Looked like crap on the wooden boat, but was very light weight, easy to use and functional.

I own one. Turns out that I have never used it on the boat, but I found this little plastic screw/cup thing to use it in the sand.

For the boat, be sure you have four points to tie it off to--I have no forward cleats, have to improvise. But its whole mounting depends on tying off the four corners.

they work well,but I just use a big golf umbrella!!

I've had one for about 5 years and use it all summer long. It goes up in about a minute; clip it onto forward and stern cleats. Mine's teal and matches one of the stripes on the Velocity. Definitey worth the price IMO.:thumbsup:

I have one and used it on my 23 Baja Outlaw. Easy to put up and stow away. Cant run with it like said earlier in this post. Mine is for sale if you want it. Not going to use it with my current boat. $75 its yours.253358

my beach/golf umbrella is very lightweight 6ft around & also can use it for hanging out 25$ on EBay ,,, that's up to you it's all goood:smiletest:
