GREG will do a guitar virtuoso god like fingers over the top crowd cheering rafter shaking solo that will bring the masses to near heartattack levels of sheer musical bliss that will leave them gasping for air and shaking from the shere climax of joy they have had musically bestowed on them :D


and the villiage danced with joy to the news of this wonderfull act, the elders lined up thier chairs on the porch in anticipation of what was to come, the children made signs with his name to proudly display upon his coming, the women made baked goods to enjoy during the festivities, the mayor had a custom made guitar shaped key to the city and will present it to him apon his arrival, the city had new streetlights installed down main street that glow brighter in hopes that the townsfolk will get a better glimps of him and his shiny axe, store owners swept thier doorsteps in hopes of him visting their establishments on this festive day, the local carpenter and local carriage builder willfully and proudly offered thier services to build a grand rolling stage with gold wheels for the joyous event, the local blacksmith made custom horse shoes for the thoroughbreds that will proudly guide his rolling stage through town, and apon it's completion will be blessed by the town church

yes, a blessed event it shall be for one and all :D

(last year he made me do a solo, this year it's his turn :) )

Funny story: In April of 1996 I filled in with the L.A. Guns (my life before the Scream And Fly days - that and school) and we were talking about stage volume, etc. I asked, "How loud are we going to be?" The reply: "Loud enough to sterilize everyone in the first 25 rows."

I could stand to see a good rock concert and be sterilzed for a few hours:D :D :D :D

I used to volunteer for a bunch of our festivals in Pensacola. Springfest was one of the biggest. The city would close down 4 or 5 blocks for a three day weekend and have stages at each end to allow for different music; ie, Rock, country, head bashed in the refrigerator..

There would be around 150 bands attend from local church groups to maybe 10 headliners. I'd always volunteer as stage security and have a ball.

My last time there ('99) I worked the stage for
Joan Jett
Hootie & the Blow Fish
Splender (when they were first starting out)
and a bunch others

But my favorite was working for EDGAR WINTER AND DICK DERRINGER....FRANKENSTEIN ROCKED! OHHHHH YEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got in trouble with the stage boss because I was so in awe of seeing real legends perform that I was turned to the stage and rockin!

Damn got me fired up!

no it's a bolt on neck which leads me to assume not usa made and it's not in primo shape, it has had multiple owners i'm sure

i actually put that in to divert the solo from myself :D hehehe

I'm sure that would sound weird?!:rolleyes: I just picked me up a new rivera knuckle head to replace my worn out been beat too many times triple rectifier. Godd damn is this thing loud! Skip your Iron bird is a nj series I believe, I had one just like too many moons ago when I started playing. It's kinda nice being self-employed again, I've been jamming more this past month that in the past year. I'll be there for the rumble and be packing more than a fast boat, better get shredding guys.:p

I used a $250 Ibanez (my "go anywhere" guitar) to record this. LOL!

Yep, I wondered what Greg was gonna do too. Forgot all about this but not the massive solo that Greg is gonna do. Tick tock tick tock time is marching forward towards the Rumble...oh crap I gotta get busy. :D

Tonight I go looking for a drum set for my stepson (well really for me but he's the one takin lessons) and after that I am gonna work on at least 3 songs. :eek:
