Recently, I have been seeing a dating site showing up here on the rt. side border. Shows some russian and asian girls wanting to meet me? One even says she is 2.8 miles from me? Ad says for me to hit a button to meet with her. She sure looks hot, but I am sure this is a scam of some sort... WTF is going on? Is this really on scream and fly? Or some virus my comp. has gotten in it. Any body else seeing this stuff?

What browser are you using? Mine does the same on Google Chrome. I cleared cookies, etc the other day and it is back to fishing and boating stuff. I think Google tracks you where you go. When I was looking a GOPRO stuff, a GOPRO ad showed up on the boarder. When I was looking at those green frying pans, it would have that ad on the boarder. I wonder what would happen if I did a search for porn??? :eek:

It simply tracks what you look at on the web and tries to sell you that. The site (this one) will have some default ads, most likely the fishing/outdoorsy stuff we see.

A Microsoft exec explained to me how this all works some years ago. It really is a good way for a business to use their advertising dollar.
