Can anyone tell me the static draft of a 21 Skater?

Thanks!

i think he is looking for how much water the boat draws just sitting. but you need to be more specific because you never mentioned what you are running for power.

Draft while not moving. Typically referred to as just draft though I have seen draft called out as either static or dynamic. For instance, a 25' Ocean Express sport cat is specified on their website as a 14" static draft and 5" dynamic draft. I am having issues finding any draft listed for most other manufacturers. You are correct lowfunds. Understand that what power is applied will effect this some though I am undecided on the moment on that. Been reading a lot with the search function on different recommended power, singles, twins, etc. I actually am in the nice position of power choices being rather open right now but looking for some general hull info.

I have very shallow water near my house, really want to put a boat on a lift (frustrated with having bought a place on the water but trailering my boat). I have 90' of dock but a sandbar which is 30" deep running out 200'. The lake is 30mi long by 20mi wide so I don't want to go below 21'. I finally have the excuse I needed to justify the cost difference of a cat. Hoping to find something under 20" of draft but with decent freeboard. Considering a 21 skater, 24 skater, 25 Liberator, 22 Talon, etc, though trying not to open the discussion on which boats are better etc and right now just trying to verify that the draft will work for me.

just from my experience 30" would be sufficient to idle out either with twins or single appication, if you plant a single engine on a 21' I recommend a hydraulic jack plate which will eliminate the issue all together

In this picture I have aprox. 19"-20" with the boat empty, lite fuel etc. 3 big boys in the back seat and more fuel, coolers are gonna' change it

I'm with Dirk , on this . 30" of water and Hyr. Jack Plates should get any of the boats you have mentioned up to your house . Most certainly the 21' Skater , or the 22' Talon .

Check with Wild Man , He runs a 25' Liberator , around in some shallow water in these parts . He should have a pretty good idea .

Also , is this a sand or rock bottom ? That would make a big differance on how close I would be willing to cut it !!!

Thanks for the replies!

It is sand... though scattered with stones. I have had my current 21' cuddy cruiser tied off to the dock, typically walked in on very calm evenings. Trimmed up all the way it draws 24". I need an extra several inches for a lift though. It sounds like it would be closer then ideal but possible for a 21 Skater or similar to do it.

I think the 22' Talon , might draw less water , as it has a center snonson .
Just a thought .

My water line ( pink stripe on the side ) is 17" to the lowest part of my center pod if this helps.
