Where can I buy seat shells?

I am looking for a fiberglass seat for my mirage river racer, something with some depth and lateral support. Anybody recommend a vendor? I want to buy a new shell and have it upholstered to match the boat.

Be sure to measure the new seat befor you buy one . The Mirage River Racer has a narrow center sponson , and the seat has to fit down into it . You may be better off getting on from Mirage , so it fits right . Otherwise you will have to raise the seat up in the sponson to fit it to your boat . I for one like sitting as low as I can get in a boat , so raising it wouls be out of the question . I know the Allison Type Seats , Did Not Fit , in my ' 94 Mirage .

rich is right we made a a seat to go between the stringers for the stv and the mirage

On mine the seat is mounted to a strut running across the top of the stringers perpendicularly. The others I have seen were mouned in between, not sure if mine came this way from the factory or if it was some time since it was new in 86 by one of the owners.
