in my quest for the perfect all around prop i haven't been able to beat my bone stock mercury 30" et lightning. has anyone had any experience with BBlades new 4 blade? saw it at the miami boat show and the claim is better hole shot, better midrange, better handeling, slightly less top end. while you are at it , what is your perfect prop?

Hay Matt, I'm also running Mer30et it works good for me too, and as you are I was thinking of BBlades blaster, They are 14 3/4 x 4blade the ET is 14 1/2 x 3bl ,,, so maybe 30p will work better ? U get one and let me know :D 50days2RRtime

Matt, I have 3 Blasters ( love em ), and I have 2 Ron Hill 4 blade Eagles arriving Friday... I bought them just to compare them to the BBlades as they are very similar in shape. I would think a 28-30 Drag4 would work well on your boat. Our motors are very diff but I had a 34-35 Drag4 on my Mirage... Great wheel.

Update- The Ron Hills came in today, they are almost identical to the Blaster. I put the 30's next to each other and cant tell them apart.

Let us know how the Ron Hill Signature props work out for you, the new ones have come a real long way from the originals. Unfortunately I can't test for a few more months but they measure out well.

Matt, I ran the blaster at the suwannee. It was not faster on my skater, However I did try it on the euro.
Good hole shot, mid-range acceleration and still ran 114-115 with my girlfriend in the boat.

I have a ton of props and have been testing about everything I can get my hands on. For an all round prop Drag 4 works nice :D
