This is a heart breaking pic to me, so sad. Ya gotta love the "Golden's", or any furry "friend" for you, for there short life. They don't care who you are, what ya done in life, just love to cuddle. If I had any clue where this was taken or who, I'd take them both with me in easy. First one mine, in a warm bed, well fed, got her at 6 weeks, little rug rat wacko..(still is, closing in now on 8, after my last Golden, had to be put down, cancer, at 9. I hope, my furry, will get too old age. Ya gotta love the mutts, as I sure do. Ask zip but a walk in the woods, take ya places you would not go alone, and fed well,.. "extra "cookie?..what the hell, ya fat anyway!"

Rob I have had 2 goldens one female Vitoria lived to 9 and Gus a 120 lb male he surcomed to cancer at 9. Both were great dogs and campanions and still have a place in my heart. I now have 2 rescue dogs a Scotty and a Westie and they also are great. It is said that dog owners live longer. That's a mighty fine looking golden you have and I know a good friend. Rick

I would be lost, without a doggy. And its sorry, that Golden's, go down way to early. Cancer. I only know of one, here, that got to 14 years old. But in there short time in life, a "Golden", is the closest to a child, known. They LOVE kids, water, a party, what ya got?, "lets go!" Just talk funny, shed hair, walk on all fours, buy they sure do pack a lot of life, at ya daily, (gotta think here, for every year you do, they do seven! Just who's the boss now?.
Life is what will it be, you, but the dog don't care.

Have to say, Goldens, NEED to either cuddle, or BE cuddled! My mutt, which is a wild lovable basket case, will jump up, to adult, "say hi!", but when with kids, her hight? Its a new ball game. Very gentle, as with smaller dogs, seems she is even hight the kids, and gentle with tiny dogs..just a lot of.."Kissy face", (and on dogs, gotta do a good "butt sniff!) My mutt, is a real idiot that can't talk. She KNOWS, I don't understand a "woof". So when this happens, either need to pee, or want more cookie! And she will sit there, starring at me, until I do something. Just to damn funny, when it happens. A pic...251153

Couple more cute pix. Friend down the block worked, had a year old Golden, same as mine, and a fenced yard. So I would excersise the dogs there. And then?, the fence below, got a new Golden pup too. . Heres a pic, all 3, and when I called "Kia", and my "Snugglebuts", TIMES UP COOKIE! Second pic..and they never saw water, just slobbering jaws, on the other. Wet ass dogs, and worn out!. I remember one day, I tossed da ball, one got it fast, ran behind me, "keep away them", and soon! I see the ball roll under me. WHAM!, FAST. I get "blind sided", right at the knees, flipped my ass in the air, landed flat on my back, ""breathless". They forgot the damn ball, came up and licked me, "kissy face silly"..HA! YOU ARE NOT DO TALL ANYMORE!" Gotta love the Goldens. NEVER a dull, moment them!

Thats a great pic, and it with still , the black nose, (gotta be a year old, or less, aint got those "long legged , growing up tall legs?)..and too white yet, as the ear color, is what it will be down the line. Beautiful green eyes! Mine is solid golden, eye balls. BUT, as I look the pic, ya mean its aint saying.."can I tear those tennis shoes to shreds?. Mine is going on 8 now, have to leave the "shoes out of range", or destroyed in seconds! BUT, when I get a worn out sock, I tie a knot in the middle, toss it to her, and fast.."shredded"..guess Goldies have a foot fetish? again, its a cutie!;)

I had to put down my 10 year old Shepherd two weeks ago....he had s large growth in his throat, and it was getting worse every day....it got so he had a hard time drinking water, and he had stopped eating dry food.
We bought him canned food next, but he had a hard time swallowing it also..
