Jim
I don't think its a good idea, too much weight for that boat.

i have a 15 foot glasstream bassboat with a 85 johnson on it.. runs 45mph... wouldn't wanna go with a much heavier motor.. might try a 135 or 140 on it at the most...

Glasstream 15V / 115 IL6.
Right now I'm getting 58 GPS from it. Repropping I think I can get 60+. May try a 150 on it next year depending on finances.
That little 14 is rated for 60 or 75. I'd really be afraid to go over 90 HP with it. It's not designed for it and would most likely be more than a handfull.

DO IT
DO IT
DO IT
Just post photos
I'd give it 18 inches of setback with 100 lbs hanging on the nose for stability...
We've heard of worse overpowered rigs:D

Before and after is good.
But you do your homework, anything is possible---- Thats how folks became heros. They did it because others said it couldn't be done.
Oh and yes, I just finished the book on Gen. Chuck Yeager. A good one.

It would be intersting. I'm not going to say one way or another. I have a 200 on a 16' checkmate.
