Hello guys!

Planning to relief the exhaust on my 200 whit bob's snout (for the silent choice)will this hurt the hole shot when using my big ear chopper?:cool:

no all it is going to do is make your nieghbors love you more:D You have to have the can out of the housing before any difference in performance will be noticed all the exhaust restriction is in the bucket(can).

Thank's Greg! Insted of remove the can, can i only make holes in it, the LU is off but i dont want to remove the power head this time.:rolleyes:

But all the performance you are going to get is psycological It's louder it must be more powerful, The can is still going to restrict the flow of exhaust and the hole to the snout have a water collum in between the can and the outside restricting the output.

Jmr, talon2.5 did a nice how to awhile back on that very thing. I did it to my 200, the can was already out and the exhaust was dy stacked. Sure sounds good and I can install the plates and make it quiet again if I need to.

it makes a lot neater looking job if you cut off the mounting ears and get someone to weld it to your mid section. Then just smooth it all out with puddy. Also the web casting is real noticable when painted. On one I did I took all that stuff off with a wheel (like the kind you use to clean pistons) and then I roughed it up with sand paper to get paint to stick to it.
