What is the best way for me to jack up my engine. i have a delta and i need to jack up, 20" shaft.

You asked the "best way". It would probably be to find a 15" mid on a boat that small. That might not be the easiest or the cheapest though. The cheapest and probably the easiest is to buy a manual jackplate, probably with as little setback as possible.

Thanks raceman. Ive been looking for a 15 mid but i cant really find a good one, thanks for the help. Anyone wana sell a jackplate??

Jacking the engine up with a 20'' shaft is probably going to take away performance .When you jack the engine up with a 20'' shaft on that small of a boat you are raising the canter of gravity therefoe it will want to chinewalk worse.The object is two have a lower canter of gravity expecially on a small vee bottom like yours.Just my 2 sense.:)

only problem is i cant find a short shaft and also i have no money.

If you can buy a jack plate than you can buy a missection,Sharky marine was selling two 15'' mids for like $150 or something like that dont know if he sold it though.There are always 15'' mids for sale cheap you just have to look.:D

Yes if you get a mid that fits the engine.Outrace know alot about that kind of stuff,talk to him.
