I'm thinking about trying to race next year just need to figure out what class to race in. Buddy I'm from Pierre Part, LA(near Morgan City) Imagine that a Cajun stuck in houston. haha Can't wait to get back down there and make it to the prop stop.

What kind of boat do you have? what does it weight? what kind of power?

You know ODBA is for outboards only, right?

You also might consider SDBA if you have a jet.

I'm selling that piece of **** jet that I own. I learned my lesson the hard way. My boss bought a laser that I could get for a cheap price, But I still haven't studied the diff. classes in OBDA. Depening on the class I choose to run will affect which boat I will run. I thought about building one of our boats really light and running it, but it's a pretty large hull( TITAN 22,L22', W8'6") I plan on building a 2.5L to power my hull. I'm not sure of the weight on the laser, but looking at the layup it looks pretty light. there are a few boats I would like to buy off of the S&F forum but I can't afford it until I sell my Taylor made anchor. Thanks for the info.
