I have 3 Blasters. Really like the way they run. VERY well balanced.. Had a Pro ET for a short while.... Sent it back to Merc after it's first 15 min run due to a cracked blade. They gave me 100% refund. Im just glad I caught it before it caused a more serious issue. In Mercs defense, they said the particular ET I had was one of the originals which had known issues. They were willing to replace it no questions asked but I was honestly not willing to be a test dummy.

I would like to try some of Ron Hills props like the Eagle 4 and 5 blades... Very reasonably priced & 6 month warranty against any blade failure!! Check them out. The 4 blade is VERY similar in shape/design of the Blaster.

Another one worth a try due to it's low cost is the Mercury Bravo 1 XS prop... Ran good numbers on my hull but
with a slightly higher slip % than I like. ( it ran 10% vs the 6% of most of my other wheels ) It was in stock form.
If it were labbed it may have been a bit tighter.

Your more than welcome to try my wheels if you see me at a function.

fast fun 2

thanks guys, i ran a bravo 1 and it was ok, didn''t seem to do anything great, but worked ok. my 3 blade litening et is still the fastest prop i've used, went 99.8. i just ordered a new pro et, supposedly merc got all the problems worked out. i definetely be interested in trying some other props out though, you never know

i ended up getting a non labbed 30p pro et, the thing hooks up way better then my 30p 3 blade labbed litening et, it doesn't have as much bow lift as the 3 blade, but does plane off much better. the speed is way off though(95 mph) but i'm not getting enough rpm out of it. i'm probably gonna send it to rich from leading edge to work on it, the trailing edge reminds me of a cleaver(how thick it is), i'm also using a 1.62 gear. i almost hate to have it worked on while its under warranty, and may hold off a lil bit until i get the new engine built for the boat, as this one is getting tired
