I've been having the same problem recently. If I leave my editor on set on "standard - extra formatting controls" then all I get is a grey blank screen. If I set it on "enhanced" then it locks up every time I try to click "go advanced" at the bottom of the screen and add smilys etc etc either on a reply or new post.

Something changed recently and it's not on my end........

Having to post from my wifes lap top.
Tried logging in/out on mine and no change. Updated my spyware and did a full scan. No change.
Restored my sytem to a date prior to the problems and no change.
Problems started several days ago. Then yesterday it worked fine for a about 5 mins then back to same.
Won't let me post, reply or P.M. Takes me to that screen but won't allow me to type.
I know Al was having the same problem.
I've pm'd and e'd Greg but gotten no reply. Would assume its a bug in my machine but that is THE only issue it has and on this site only??
Does Craigs, E-Bay, and BYB, e-mail all w/no no issues.

I'm having problems too. All i have is a grey box at the bottom. Been that way for a few days. Both from my laptop and my parents computer. Works fine from my iPhone

Yep.

Just got a call from Rrevinrude and he's having the exact same problem and has for the same amount of time.

It must effect only certain i.p. addresses since it's allowing me to post on my wifes puter but not mine even though we are using the same wireless router connection. Yesterday I signed in under and old user name on my puter and it let me post one time under that name and then locked me out again.
Arggghhhhhh!
Greg probably tried taking off for one weekend and look what happened ;)

I E-mailed Greg about the issue he contacted me back with in 5 minutes and said he'd look into it , I did the reload thing and it seemed to fix it..Wrote him back and said it was now OK but it's still doing it..

DUNNO,
Jay

This is the first one I've gotten to work, and I've done it by going to the advanced format. At least I think it's going to work when I hit the Submit Reply button. I e-mailed Greg too. I spoke to T-Rex and he hasn't been able to post either.

The problem happened at the same time that the display changed. There are now ads running down the right side of the page that are crowding out the thread list and causing the list to appear longer and narrower. Looks all goofy.

The posting issue should be corrected now :). We're making further refinements to the board and will correct any other issues.

Ron, that display issue is actually an Internet Explorer-specific issue. When viewed in Firefox, the site displays as it should. In Internet Explorer, you need to run the site in Compatibility View (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/products/ie-9/features/compatibility-view) to make the site display correctly.
