Just wondering if anyone would have info on a good prop. the boat is an 88 Concord LS7 with a 450+hp 468bbc with a alpha1 outdrive. It has 12x12 trim tabs and i use the boat for ski/tubeing and having fun. It is a awsome boat but i have know idea were to start, help. I hate to blow money on something that will be useless. Ive been told to get a big cup 23-26p prop for the boat, does that sound right? I can go on a prop chart but i would rather ask the real pros that have tried it in the real world. Thanks

put a cheap one on it,cause it might not stay there for long with that power twisting an alpha!

the outdrive was rebuilt with hardned shafts and gears but i figure that will need to be upgraded to a bravo. I heard that the motor height will change and the hole in the outdrive is going to change. Thats when i break the alpha which they said will handle the power as long as i dont air it out. someone told me a three blade over a four because the three puts less force on the outdrive in the holeshot. I dont beat on it, the boat is used lightly.i just need a good allround prop.
