Will be putting in @ old Mannford ramp, cruise around, up to Appalachia, etc... may try to catch some crappie. Just wanna get out again if the weather wants to allow for it!

Just me, even my buddies chickened out on me! I ended up putting in @ Keystone State Park & cruised over to Appalachia then up the river a little ways. Lake was pretty well empty aside from a few bass-boats, 2-3 sail-boats & 1 cabin-cruiser.

Wind was neglible so I was able to open her up a bit, although I was lugging 32 gallons of fuel (44 total capacity) and the heavy tank was on my side...

Waiting on the next decent day, as I'll be headed towards Keystone or Gibson.

Thru-Hull transducer arrived today for the locator/GPS unit so I have another project for the winter in that. Also going to get rid of the Merc oil-injection & run her mixed next summer. Have a few other "this-&-that's" to be tended to over the dismal season on her though; lets hope Spring is here YESTERDAY!!!!

Went out again on Saturday -- The winds were a lot more than we expected so we neded up way out 71st street on the Navigation Channel @ Bluff Landing. Put in there & went all the way up to the back end of the Port of Catoosa & then down a few of the Ox-Bows on the way back. There were quit a few other boats out for December 31st; but with the mild temp's... WHY NOT!!!

Great Way To End This One & Start The Next!!!
