Boat wont stop jumping arount till 90

New guy here just bought my first boat from a credit union here in cali.Thinking I may got screwed over this thing for $15k .Damn thing almost through one of my buddies out,funny as hell becouse he spilt his drink all over though.Its got 2 300's on it says skater on the side not sure exactly if thats a brand or model.I do know its 28 ft,may have to get a bigeer rig then this escalade to tow it.Anyways we went out for some bar hoppin the other night for our first trip and it wont stop bouncing around till 80 something.It will through a coool looking rooster tale though.Im not sure this is gonna make that good of a cruising a round boat,not alot of room for a stereo.What the heck am I doin wrong.

Here's the deal. Trim the engines to be nuetral with the bottom of the boat. If you can raise the motor's, raise them so the center of the prop shaft is 1 1/2'" above the bottom of the boat.
As you accelerate put the boat in a slight right or left hand turn, once you get above 85 start to straighten it out. It will continue to accelerate.

I got to tell you boys this things a blast.Took it out today with freinds tubeing.you would think it would pull guys up easier then it does.it just would rev to 7000 then take off and I slowed down becouse I couldnt see the guyz with all the water sprayin.theres a big bar between the motors that I tied ski line to.i think im gonna,need something stronger then that.I did find a problem somethings broke becouze it starts in gear.Scared the heck out my buddy on the tube.I think im gonna need a tower or something to tow with .Steerings was harder when using that metal bar in back.

Have you been behind it yet? I always wondered how it would be behind a tunnel with the wakes coming together. Maybe experiment with different lengths of rope to find the sweet spot? I bet a tower, or at least a ski pole may make it a little better. Let me know how this goes. I'm curious.

Got it figured out for you. The word on the side is SKI-ER they mispelled it. If that chrome bar between the engines don't have the ski rope attachment you may have gotten screwed, they put the cheap one on it. The two motors are not to be run at the same time, one is to cross the lake the other is to come back. Always run the boat with a ice chest of beer up front (not light beer) and it will not bounce anymore, Have fun and keep us posted.

Nice to see you deleted your post. Now just a word, I would not be towing skiers from a line tied to your steering tie bar. If you bend it it may come apart and you will be in big trouble. If its a 28 Skater its not really made for that. Its made for going 120mph with that kinda power.
