Well the interest is there so just putting these potential dates out there to see what other things may be happening for people . So far this is whats available in April that doesn't conflict with Easter or Good Friday .


April - 13-14-15 or April- 20-21-22 ---2012 .

BTW, funny story for you. I used to constantly harass my wife for forcing me to spend my 50th birthday in Ohio w/her family. As she's way smarter than me......, she let me get away w/this for quite a while ;)
Finally she'd had enough and asks me, "do you know where you made me spend my 50th birthday at"? Only thing I could think was "Oh ****!".
Answer was River Ranch! Started out fine spending time w/her and the gang until the first motor started and then she never saw me again.

This is that weekend drinking some of Joe Harvaths magic elixer ;)

nothing there, but I looked around pretty good before - I have only met him once but knew right off the bat he was a Highly Trained Professional in Horse Pukey and I didn't even know he knew a horse.

I was thinking of pics of the Palacial Estate with the board fences and stuff, NC is some pretty country

I was born in Charlestown W Va near the track due to a stupid horse,in March - I was supposed to be in Miami at Gulfstream, never have had any desire to go north - ever after that.

Mike Tyler ( Corona Mike ) and Dennis ( Big D ) started this thing in 2006 ...now we are heading into the 11th event . It's been fun for sure !

Actually it was Skip..."Tallon 2.5" and I that started it. We just had a bet that they wouldn't let Big-D back on the property after he "Borrowed" the fire truck and took it for a little spin around the resort!:eek::D:D We started this deal to prove to people that you can have a very good boating event without some....well I'll let you'all fill in the blank....having the GALL to CHARGE YOU to come to a boating event.:mad::mad: Through the years, River Ranch has been a very good event. We have had a couple of unfortunate things happen, and hopefully that will never happen again.:( When we started, we had our own private ramp and property to use. Unfortunatly that went away, BUT! this year Good Ol' Tom has a little suprize for everybody! Lets Just Say It Has Something To Do With A Better Ramp! Thanks Again Tom For Taking Up The Slack!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

A lot of guys had to miss last year. Please have it ANY weekend other than April 13-15 so we can come back. It is a VERY BIG festival that had 34,000 people last year, 4 days of concerts including Allmand Brothers, Steve Miller, Ziggy Marley and the Whalers, Doobie Brothers, Derrick Trucks, and on and on and on. A lot of us go..............

I've looked over at offshore and nothing on the calander there I can find, OS, is that all the classes, it's hard to keep up with the sanctioning bodies and their monikers. I definatly want to be here for that and would like to see everybody at the ranch. thanks :thumbsup:
