Amazon may not be your best deal

I bought a GoPro Hero2 last month for $299 off Amazon. Amazon is easy and usually you get a good deal... Well not anymore I guess. I decided to get a Hero2 for my brother for Christmas.... It was $409 compared to $299 I paid for not even a month ago. Freaking price gougers! I ended up ordering one direct from GoPro. Even paid sales tax on it and it was still almost 90 bucks cheaper than Amazon.

I have found Amazon to be higher than if I really searched for a better price most of the time And even if the item was cheeper the shipping usually came into play.

There on E-bay for $309.99 and free shipping with a SD card included.

I buy from Amazon often and I've found it to be hit or miss. Sometimes you find a great deal and others the price is outrageous.

You must be looking at the wrong one. GoPro HD Hero2 Motorsport is $275 right now on amazon. :)
