I've alway wanted an inflatable cat to play with. Due to various reasons I'm down to bayliner deck boat "I know". Past toys include XR2002 ally. 28' scraab, 30' cat, broke my heart to let this one go. Anyway on to question my mother has a mint aluminum fishing boat with a 9.9 rude on the back of it. Would this motor push somthing like dux inflatable. I know a 40hp would be where its at. The motor is just sitting there and I wondered if would even work if I found one to put it on. Thanks for imput , I don't post much on here but lurk alot, Its had to pick up speed tips on a bayliner deck boat.

Probably will not plane (??). Definitely will not plane with two people on board.

Kinda what I thought . Definitely won't be packing no air Huh. LOL. It was just a thought. I mean the boat and motor is 1970's or 1980's and is brand new kept down stairs in heated garage. I just always wanted one of these Thanks for the imput.

with our mini cat you can run 9.9 with kids up to 25hp, and with our aqua cat 25-50hp but if you really want to have fun and get the performance out of it you need a 40-50 if you have any questions feel free to give me a shout.

LakTrash, my 9.9 Johnson puts my 10ft Avon RIB on plane with me the wife and 4 dogs onboard.

Great looking boats thunderduck, we are getting things going up here in Canada with ThunderCat racing and hope to revive it out your way as well. let me know if you want me to keep you in the loop of whats going on.
