95 mariner 150 efi ecu question

hello,can anybody tell me if a ecu off a 93 200 merc., be reprogramed to work with a 95 mariner 150 efi.i need another ecu and have a chance to buy this one at a good price. it looks the same and was told that it is programed differently.

It will work as it is stock but the fuel curve is different for the two. Its probably gonna be pretty rich if you dont change the heads and up the compression to 150 lbs or so. Dont know if reprogramming would be cost effective on that one. Probably be better off just finding the right box if you wanna keep it stock.

ok.so if i purchace a ecu with the same part num.824003 4,will it work the same as this one?
