Remember those early days at Parker when we fueled with steel milk cans and big funnels? I still can remember guys rope starting those big mercs...Where would outboard racing be today had they not reversed the trend of twins and triples???? "THEY" meaning OMC and Mercury!!!

message board. But I am sure he would appreciate if you wanted

By the way I noticed in one of your other posts the cover shot
of Speed & Spray magazine which you say you are "the kid in
the T-shirt in the photo" Is that at Marine Stadium in Long Beach? I am probably a year or two younger than you but
other than that the photo brings back those many days over
the 50's & 60's spent at Marine Stadium as one of the "boat kids"
