Hello felas I have 14x20 mercury drag prop but I running a 85 johnson right now. I want to no if I could put a johnson hub in it but befor I do that I want to no if my motor will turn it

I don,t know your boat, but for me if you can turn a 19 and or a 21" aluminum whats the reason to switch on an 85 hp.thanks.

That prop needs to be surfaced which means the motor will have to go up on the transom. You will need a water pressure gauge if you intend to run surfacing propellers.

yes i no. im working a lwpu now and the prop i want to run was for 90 merc inline 6. i running a 85 johnson now cause the low points in my stator went bad and i dont have the money right now to get it fixed and have the timing done. so i whiched to the johnson but i was wanting to no wen i raise the motor and stuff and will the 85 be able to turn the 14x20?

Yes it should. I used a 22 with my 85, worked great.
