A pic of my crank from my latest explosion. Notice the rod cap welded to the crank journal. The bearings are smeared around the journal. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA

Thats a tough call, if it got so hot it affected the temper of the crank steel (easy indication is blueing of the metal) then its junk, if not anything is possible. Remove the old bearing and send it out to be welded and reground. Dont think Id try turning 8000+RPM with it tho.... so how much is it worth to fix a fishing motor crank? Maybe Im way of base...my .02 worth
