I always loved those boats. Nice work!!
When I was kid in the early 80s there was a red a white GT20 running around the lake here. It would stop me in my tracks when I heard him winding it up,It had a 2.4 225 on it. it was the fastest thing around here in those days. Probably would still would be!

Great looking boat and colors. That has always been one of my favorite classics.
I had 2 back in the day and they were one of the fastest boats around.they handle the salt water good but developed transom issues.I almost bought one last month.good luck with your project,it looks like your doing it right!

I ran a GT20 for a season , + it was a great boat , it handled very good , + was great in the rough water, and it turned better than any other boat i had in the snakes, but i abused it bad, + it broke ( my fault ) + sold it to a guy who let it sit for years.

It's getting close. Core, stringers, transom all done, bottom repaired and straightened/sharpened, now deck going back on and prime/paint.
Need a 2.4 or 2.5 200 fishing powerhead bad! Can't seem to find one in the right price range...(i.e. "cheap but repairable"). I've missed two prime 2.5 200s in the last two months. Anyone have anything decent they'd like to donate (relatively speaking) to the cause?

JT This Allison is so easy to drive as compared to the other Allisons that I've have owned or driven. It reminds me of driving the Venom I have. There's something to be said about a flat pad instead of the concave set up that the Allisons have now.
