Hello S&F, I do believe its about that time to freshen up my '03 250 EFI It has roughly 800hrs on it and is starting to fall on compression. My question is, my boat is a sport boat similar to concept, pantera, but its a center console. I use it to fish, family, and speed across the bay when i need some therapy :reddevil: I would like to freshen my powerhead but is it cost effective to have a trustworthy machinist such as a local vendor from here pull it down and freshen it up and cut the heads or just purchase a Reman powerhead. I do come from a hot rod background and understand the art of machining, and would not just take it to anyone. I will be sending my ECU to Simon just to give me a few extra RPM's, nothing major. I just sent my injectors to Brucato 6 months back as well as install CC reeds. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.....

Sam,we offer free pickup and delivery in Florida, and though we provided reeds for your motor, our main line is powerhead remanufacturing.we offer a " soup to nuts" program...we remove and reinstall your powerhead, remanufacture it in our facility, send nothing out but injectors for cleaning. All cylinders are bored, all new pistons, rings, bearings, poppet valves, thermostats, bleed lines, and assorted small parts are installed.we have been milling o ring heads for a couple years now,and can clean up the casting flaws and port misalignment to improve performance without detrimental effects on idle etc. After assymbly the engine is run-in in a test tank loaded with a test prop, scanned, tuned and adjusted, fuel, ignition, oil, and charging systems checked. Please give me a call to discuss,we have a great price and warrantee, and since I'll be delivering your motor it shouldnt get lost In the mail,Chris
