I'm looking at buying a 23' tunnel w/center pod set up for twins, but with no motors. I happen to have a 300 Vmax HPDI with the Hydrotec Stage 3 kit. It would be easy for me to find another 300 Vmax HPDI to hang on the back, but the Yamaha LWP LU was never offered in a counter-rotating version. What are thoughts on running two co-rotating engines on a cat?

You should be able to install a LWP on the gearcase without one. As far as running 2 RH motors it will work,it wont be quite as fast, and it will skate a little but will work. There will be alot of steering torque, unlike with counter there is none, so you will need a good hydrolic twin ram steering. If your looking for over 100mph go counter for sure.

Cool, thanks. I've since found where someone is selling a 25' Eliminator with twin Vmax HPDI 300's. He is claiming one was converted to counter-rotating. So, I could run them co-rotating for a while, until I figure how who/how to convert one of them.
