timing a 2.4??

I did a search, but couldnt find anything. Tomorrow I have to time a buddies 1985 2.4 200, I havent done this in forever, and wanna make sure I get it right. I have most manuals on CD, but dont think I have the older 200's for some reason. Can someone post the timing procedure/specs, so I make sure to get it right.
