CLE Propshaft

Hello,have a 4 hole CLE lower. I have it torn down for a reseal and check over for winter storage,and noticed lines worn in on the end of the propshaft where the 2 seals ride on. Is this normal for the seals to cut in the shaft like that? Can this be repaired? This is that high carbon steel shaft. Thanks

dont worry about it when you replace the carrier seals they can be inset at a lower point in the carrier you will have a new surface for the seals to ride on
