anybody know if a 15 1/2 diameter 4 blade prop will fit on a 2.4 mercury gear case. bought a set of props and just realized they were 15 1/2 dia. and not 15 1/4. don't have them yet but hoping they will fit. my bravos had plenty of room but not sure if a hydromotive quad IV will fit. they are not the outboard versions though. trying to get as much diameter as possible. thanks

they are 2.4 200s with 2.1 lowers so i had to go up to a 28 pitch hydromotive quad IV on a 28ft checkmate. why dont they plane good

have 1" vent holes or PVS holes put in the barrell, and they will work GREAT!!!

I am going to try them without the vent holes to try and get some numbers together and then send them out to be worked. I had 24 p bravos and they blew out real bad getting on plane with four 5/8in holes in them. Probably going to have them drilled for pvs if needed. Hopefully these will like being surfaced better than the bravos. Thanks for the help

they will!! hydromotive makes very good props. and Todd is a great guy to work with! PVS is definately the way to go.

Cause they don't have the vent holes to let the outboards come up the power band. They were designed for big block stern drives i didnt realise it was a big boat with twins . i tryed mine on a 20 vegas with 2.4 and it didnt plane well and i was alone. My motor is a lot higher now, maybe ill try it again Hydromotive does have props designed for outboards though, and they make very nice props and have excellent customer service and advise

BIG tail lift. With 1 inch holes my 29's on 300pm's slipped nicely to 4200 rpm then grabbed hard and put the boat on plane double quick, ran 100 x 6200.Ran them to the limit on the pressure gauge with no trim.Mine were pitched bigger than marked. And my bravo 30's were pitch smaller and offered much less performance. The 32 clevers ran 110 and thats all they were good for.26 American Offshore.
