Today I finally managed to get my engine of the transom and into my warm garage.
When I inspected the flywheel I found out that two of the magnets were loose...
Nothing seems hurt, and the engine is running fine all the time. However, I need to build me a tool
and pull the flyweel, in order to glue the magnets back with JB Weld.

Is there anything of special importance during this operation ??
(Itīs my first time doing this on this engine)
Do I need to mark everthing up to be able to get it back in the right position, or does
the flywheel only fit in a certain way. Iīm a bit concerned that I would change the timing...

Regards !
Anders

the flywheel is keyed and will only go on one way so long as the key is still in the crankshaft. You can use a standard harmonic balancer puller from the local auto parts store to remove the flywheel.

Mark magnet --put back with same side out or poles will be rversed and cut some wood spacers in between it and ones next to it or it may pull out of place before epoxy sets ---

I guess that is their attempt at humor. ;) They are referring to an air or electric powered impact wrench, of which you do not need to use it in your case.

I don't know of any downloadable service manuals, free or not. You may find a factory manual on eBay though.

An impact didn't touch the bolt on my 89 GT175, it took a breaker bar and a long piece of pipe to break the nut loose.
