I know that the 3L and 2.7s will swap but wasn't sure will a 3L ph and exhaust plate bolt on a 2.6L mid?

It will bolt up just fine just leave out the 2.6 tuner and "can"

Thanks, that was the plan to use the 3L adapter and tuner with the 2.6L mid and trim, they look the same but have a different part# that's why I asked, I think the different part# is b/c of the 2.6L having idle relief holes in the mid

I think thats the only difference, you would have to block those off some way

Thanks, that's no problem I can weld them up, but can you clarify why I need to block them off?

does it make any differences in performance to put a 2.7 mid and tuner on a 3.0. if it can be done.

I recently put a '93 3.0L on an early V4 looper mid with relief holes...
To get the 3.0L adapter on, I had to machine the area right behind the relief holes to allow the 3.0L adaper and tuner to sit in the exhaust housing. I think you will need to do the same...
You need to plug the relief holes, because it will now relief through a rubber grommet on the adapter and through the lower motor cover..
The exhaust relief through those holes if left unplugged will enter the engine compartment..
I plugged mine by tapping threads in the holes and used allan key type pipe plugs...

Thanks for that, the rubber grommet on the adapter through the cowl never came to mind, i'll do the same with the relief holes.
