I am running a ruck modified 2.4 EFI horn motor. It has one steel sleeve (#5) and the rest nic. I spent a long tedious time breaking it in this summer, ran non syn oil, 32:1, probably around 80 gallons of fuel through it, varing rpm, never over 5K. I pulled the plugs to check things out regularly for probably the first 5 hours, then not again. all looked good. Went to put it away for the winter, and did a comp test #1 145, other 5 140. Did a bore inspection and #1 looks like a mid 70's inline, the whole dome is caked in carbon from intake port to exhaust port, enough to raise compression 5psi! I was wondering if this could be caused by all the low speed running, giving me lots of puddled fuel/oil which is dumped back to the top? I just had my injectors done by tony at the beginning of the year, so I dont think its that.
