5 pedal intake with 7 pedal front??

I have a set of ccm oversized 4 pedal reeds and i was planning on running them on my set up. Well today when i removed my intake and carbs i decovered someone has changed that set up over to a 7 reed/cage and front half set up. My question is has anyone ran the 4/5 pedal intakes on the 7 pedal front halfs and had good results or will it work or not?

ive ran the 5 petal intake and reeds on a 7 petal fronthalf before. seems to make them torqy as heck out the hole

How long did you end up running this set-up for and was there a reason you switched back. thanks for any info i cant really find much info on this combo.

What engine and what mods are done. It will add a lot of crank case volume with a 7 petal front half without the full width reed block in it.

No still got it the same way. Late 80's 2.4.

Oh yea the front half is decked 60 thousandths and reed blocks are opened up a lil more and mild exhaust porting with bobs tuner on mine.

Thanks riverrocket. Chris is going to send me a 5 pedal intake and im going to use these 4 pedals i got on the 7 pedal front half and see how she does for now.
