I have a 10' GW invader that I am not sure of the full history behind it. It doesnt look like any other invader when it comes to the bottom of the boat. This winter I want to try to make all and any improvents to the hull to make it a better running boat.

This season was the first time I got to use it. It has a side to side shake in the rear of the boat bad when getting to max speed. It is a little nerve racking to get to max speed but when there when going straight it goes decent at 48mph. I have been told to build the center pad wider and then add a step on the pad to build it up like a deep v hull design. I have also been told to cut the center out so it has no keel step and add 2 outer peices to have a tunnel hull design.

I have the capabilities to do it but not sure what will work the best or be the best. I like the boat and dont plan on getting rid of it anytime soon so I want to atlest attempt to make it better if possible.

Heres a pic of the bottom of the hull. you cant see in the pic but at the back of the hull on the sides it flows smoothly into the side of the boat. The front lip doesnt go all the way back.

Thanks for any advice.

I think building a pad with that little amount of dead rise in the bottom is difficult to asses benefit if any thanks.

smart tabs took away my chinewalk and made it extremely stable at 50mph, might be worth a try
