This Merc#ob1 68394 is on the bracket I can't find this number the date on the block 12-3-93 what motor is this

From 1992 thru 1994 the serial number designators started with OD******. Ob****** serial number designators were from late 1986 thru mid 1988.

Can you find a serial number on the block? On the welch plug stb side top or rear block half where the case halfs meet top port just behind where you found the date stamp.

Looks like you have a mid and powerhead from different years.

The welch plug on has the letter B in it is there another place to look for the serial# I know the power head is a 94 so it's been changed from the mid
