You mean that boat still gets salty!!!
ha,ha,ha... Drew,:iagree:
It did not for along time, but there were a few boats running around here that
swore up and down they would put a spankin on me if I ever put my boat
in salt water, well needless too say they were not as fast as they thought!!!

Yeah I know those guy's the last one I raced said his older checkmate would do 90. I let him feel good to about 70! not that I haven't had my ass spanked a few times but not by many!!!!!:D
I'll make that run to Hiram's any time you guys want. I cant go 90 , but I seen you guys go a lot slower when there's traffic coming from the other way ... ;)

Headed to the Inlet momentarily. Also plan to visit Suzi's Tiki Bar. Just heard that the new owners are going to clean up the beach front and install volley ball nets. Hirams is nice but this place has the best view of the river/islands in all of Sebastian and much more laid back. No food yet but Vic's italian/pizza is on opposite side of street and Suzi's is fine w/you bringing it over. We do it all the time. Killer pizza!
For those curious, it is the 2nd pier south of the city docks/ramp and approx. 1/4 mile north of the yacht club ramp/docks which are both marked very well.
Don't forget Mulligans now has a very nice restaurant/pub on the water w/nice docks right next door to the yacht club as well. Better food than Hiram's too and nice docks that will accept a larger boat.

Awesome day on the water! 20 mls of Atlantic @ 45 - 65 and had a blast! Swam in 35' of water and could see the bottom.
Stopped at Suzi's Tiki Bar on way in to complete the day with "after" pix's of the Sonic the same place as the "before".
Met the new owners of Suzi's when he walked up and asked if that was my Sonic tied at the dock! Was too far away to see the stickers, the guy actually knew what it was! Is a hard core boater himself (and family) and loves the idea of some of us stopping in on our way past and is a fan of hot rod boats ;)

Nice to meet you at the Cove bishop. Keep an eye out for my thread on the production of the 17' Action. It's probably going to be a long, slow project for now. But I'm sure once the paint gets splashed, the controls get hooked up, and I'm just waiting on the motor that my impatience will kick in and I'll do whatever it takes to get that thing on the water. Hoping it's not later than spring break 2012.

It's funny the way that works, seems like once its painted, you just wanna get'r wet, drive it, then take your time:p
It'll be cool seen another 17' action at the cove again, It's been awhile since there been an action up there...

I hear you! I've seen the river angry many of times. Been down to Hirams several times from MI, haven't really gone much further south than that.
