dry pits will be held in East Islip's Marina on Bayview Avenue.

I am figuring to come up early sunday morning and leave late sunday night. My brother in law has the boat "Locked up" which races in p6 class. My friend Mark races "mighty macs" in the p5 class.

so where the hell are they actually racing????? i understand the dry pits are back in patchogue, at the old home depot on rt 112. and i understand that the boats are going to be in SAYVILLE VILLAGE this year, NOT patchogue village. but if town of islip nixed the race, 1.why are they displayed in sayville and 2.why is the race still advertised as between lands end & the li maritime museum???
not sure who's more screwed up here, village of patchogue, town of islip or town of brookhaven????

i plan on going, i dont know if ill be takin my boat unless i possibly launch somewhere closer to the race site. pounding into a head sea all the way home for an hour doesnt seem like fun in a 21 footer lol

I'll be there with my class 6 raceboat, #606 Lock'd Up Bandit.
Louie (who runs the race, and races "Stictly Business") assured us the race is a "go". He has had to deal with alot of turmoil with towns demanding all kinds of services (EMS, fire, police, public works etc.) all requiring cash from the club. It was cheaper to move the race out of Patchogue. I'm sure in the days to come details will be finalized and will be posted here.
