Is Jordan Lake a good place to boat? (STV) Any restrictions, noise, speed, etc., it looks pretty big on the map. Where is a good place to launch, bringing my boat up next week.
Thanks,
Dennis

Jordan Lake is beautiful, plenty of room to open an STV up. The main body of the lake can get a little choppy on the weekends, but there is a little river section and several other open areas on the lake to hang out. I live about 25 minutes from Jordan and boat there frequently, give me a call (I'll PM you) when you're up and I'll try to make it out.
I usually launch at the Ebenezer Church launch off of Beaver Creek Rd

Hey Dennis, call Tony Brucato. He tests out there during the week. If you're going to go out I just might come up and raise some hell with ya....

Boston, Anything south of 64 is rough until you get to the river area. It is a good place to boat over all can have a lot of traffic pulling people through the main part of the lake.
When are you going to be up this way?
I put in on Farrington Point Rd. A at the north end of the lake. Same Road that Storz puts in just a few miles up the road.

Sounds good. I am off work everyday at 4 and can be on the lake by 5. I've also go next Friday off if you're still in town.
