1979 Alacraft any information

I found this boat today its a 1979 alacraft 15ft 4in long bow rider 140 merc cruiser they built in alabaster AL and that all I know I can't find any more information on it does anybody have one or seen one I have many ? I am going to post some pic later the boat in rough shape need full restoration I want to know if its worth before I start any information would be great full.

I hear those boats are quite popular in the Middle East with the Muslims. Just kidding, never seen one before :)

Looks very similar to a Baja, Checkmate or similar.
Cool, modified tunnel type V..

Ok, I see its a 140.. I have only found one Ala on line and it was a tri hull...

There has got to be somebody in around alabaster AL that knows something about it .

ALACRAFT co.inc most be a ghost but I know they built boat between 65 and 79 that's the ones I found and that's it.

:thumbsup:Hey Kitten this is 5hawgs, I've got one too. My buddy bought it new in 79. I bought it from him around 90. used it for years great ski and booze cruise back when it was cool.. Time took it's toll though on the floor and I redidit about 97. Got into bass fishin and sold it to another friend,, He kept it for 5 years letting trees and what not grow in side and pulled the head off,, Bought it back from him and still trying to make up my mind to tackle the floor and motor once again.. I've only seen one more of these boats and it was an outboard here at Lake Sinclaire many many moons ago.. Do you still have the boat? Mine was gold metalflake original but I had the top painted way back.. I'm boat poor but are you looking to get rid of it or redoing.. If you know some one that takes on projects like ours let me know .. Cause I do play the lottery regularly... Post back and I'll try to post my picks Keith

Hey Kitten you still out there. Have not touched my Alacraft But I have a rebuilt 140 Hp off a 82 Imperial foot and all that I' trying to sell on Macon Ga craigslist 2 boats trailers and all for 400 Keith

Built in Calera or Alabaster by Ed Blackman we were a dealer back then for them the building is stil there where they were built.. He built bass boats pop off a Challenger and alot of 15ft tri hull ski boats.. i just rememebr hi m calling everyone Hey Baby lol when we would go pick up boats.. Not many around any more.
