I paused your video looks like the around 6500 rpm. who knows what prop but the speedo is reading the 114. the boat sure spools up quick. if you turn up the volume you can hear it.

Absolutely. That's a no.6 drive so I have no idea of ratios but be safe in assuming they are over driving the prop ;)

Actually, there was alot of single, big HP 30ft Convincors out of Gun Lake in Michigan. Many of them run over 100 mph. That boat has a Gaffrig dry speedo which can easily be over 10 mph off at 100 mph.

I am guilty of using that in an inaccurate statement. I say I am "over driving" the prop on my hot rod motor by running 1.62 gears as opposed to the OEM 1.86's.
Still technically under driven but less so than OEM ratio and see the I/O guys doing same with an rpm limited car motor ;)

I raced and beat this boat afew years ago with my procomp with just a 280 on it!! I run a 24 tillman et it gpsed 107 mph with 2 banging the revlimiter drove around him twice saturday, had him so mad he was waiting for me at the launch sunday asked if I wanted to go again....well after turning the boost up things dident go any better!! lol this is 1 of the gun lake guys......I will look him up and see if hes ready to try again......I do think he runs low 100's.
