Where you stick the bow eye through on an Allison... is it steel reinforced? I put a new bow eye in mine not that long ago and over a couple months it has loosened up a tiny little bit. Is there something I can put on before the nuts to tighten it down? I just want to make sure it is reinforced like it should be. Thanks.

There is reinforcement in the hull for the eye. I'd use a good bow eye with the shoulder made into the eye itself, so you can use a outside and inside backing plate, with good flat washers as well as lock washers, and a non-nylock nut,, I like the full machine nuts for holding tight longer,,, RB
