is all that cheaper then just having the boat shipped to Texas?

If someone could follow the progress of that concraption on it's voyage, it would be one of the most entertaining boating events ever.

Looking at the whole set up i doubt he has plans to plane out. Looks like a slow idle ride on the IC to Texas to me. Keep those 2.5`s below 2000rpm and he won`t do to bad on fuel either.

DBthe nic will be wore off the cly before he get's there:nonod:.By the size of the tank it look's like he is in for one very long trip.. 5 mph x how many mile's:eek:.. be lucky if he get's 5mph going against the tide, unless he plan's on running with the tide and anchoring till the tide change's.Just a guess at 50 ton's but if a storm kick's up he is done:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:Hope he has a tug drag him out of port ... Really hope someone will post a video of that thing trying to move under the power of them poor 2.5's and what they sound like trying to move that thing:nonod:

Wouldn't it be cheaper to truck it? Should have called Frank Mole!

the cost to dis-assemble the house to clear bridges would far out weigh the cost of the repair. I'd bet he makes it, the choice of props seems suspect? but run them in their desired range, straight shot, no ICW, bet he makes it. nice to see the fat guys pinching pennys, fum ducker out

The guy with the master plan is the one who crashed it if I read it correctly. He gots it all figured out . As long as his driver doesn't break it on the way back, they'll patch it up and make a million $?? Where's my rolly eyeball deal??

Probably going to point it in the general direction he's a goin and run 1 motor. That way he's got 2 more spares when the first one konks out. On plane?? It aint a race,,,,,,,,,,,,,.. A splendid voyage. Cocktail in hand. Not a care in the world. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Maybe some enthusiastic passengers below deck??? Sell tickets for a Martini cruise to Texas!!! Guy's a genius.

wow, definitely a waste. i understand the theory and appreciate the ingenuity, but definitely the wrong motors, in fact, i cannot think of a worse motor except maybe a drag or s3000

He will hit every dock he approaches, that setup wil have no reverse control what so ever.... the thrust will hit the transom..........
