Has water pump and gaskets been changed, if they have were any parts of the impeller missing, if so they could be in the divider plate holes. If so water flow may be some what stopped up. Jeff

If you have that high of water pressure your water pump should be fine.. If you have water pressure higher than 20-25 lbs at WOT you have a restriction of spent water leaving your block. If the spent water is fighting an obstruction leaving it will create observed pressure high BUT that is an illusion that all is ok . You MUST have large steady flow of spent water leaving this is indicated by a WOT pressure of no more than say 15-18 lbs. That way the volume or magnitude of water can exchange heat and leave allowing another block full of cool water to exchange heat and cycle .

I would look in the normal places for an obstruction of spent water path. Thermostats , poppet valving, next the passage under the head gaskets at the block as well as the 4 cross over passages at the divider plate. If all found to be clear next remove the divider plate and check the cross over passages for pebbles , sticks, wood, and dried aquatic material , when all fails you'll need to remove the power head to check the spent water passages ( dumps ) in the tuner adapter plate if those holes are plugged or blocked you will see high pressure as well as hot temps...Cleaning any of these that an obstruction is found and maybe going a slight bigger on these dumps ( with a drill , about 5% bigger ) should solve the issue.

Good luck,
Jay
