My old R/C boat that I play with at the island finally lost its last legs this weekend. I want to get into something a little fast but more reliable then anything. Its main use will be jumping small wakes and driving under pontoon boats:)
All of the department store crap is way to slow. Not interested in a gas job. Any advice on a entry level Electric R/C boat would be great. Thanks

I have an original Traxxas Villain IV. I run a EVX2 monster truck speed controller and a 5000 mAh LiPo battery, but otherwise bone-stock. It's not super fast, but it's fairly reliable. It's nearly impossible to flip it or swamp it from jumping wakes, but I have blown it over a few times in the rough stuff while running into a headwind.
