Well it's offical 15% ethonal has been approved,coming to a station near you. Hope you all have clean fuel systems. Looks like we will have even more carbs to clean. Good for our service business but bad for boaters.

Yea I am kinda wondering how they are going to do that. After all stations only have so many tanks to draw from. They all going to put in more tanks,I think not.They going to take away 92-93 octaine and use that tank for the e-15 hope not. Can someone enlighten me then How they could possible have both?

Man lets hope for a major change in next years election. Ethanol is not the right plan.

I have heard that the government will stop subsidizing ethanol once the current contract expires. Don't know how true it is but we can hope.

Sweden have 5% and will this summer increase to 10% (E10).

Both Germany and Finland allready have E10.

Yep,I have noticed the non corn stations list has got smaller and smaller http://www.pure-gas.org that is cuz the states wont get federal money if they continue to sell non corn fuel. EPA and politics suck. Every body vote these morons out and save our sport.

What would be nice is to see a state build its own refinery, pump its own oil, and screw the rest of the system.

Sad. Up here, the highest grade contains no ethanol. The marinas don't have E fuel. May cost a little more but it's worth it!
Our Reg is E10, Supreme has no ethanol, and mid grade is a 50/50 blend of the two, often right at the filling station.
Perhaps that is the idea in Pa.

It's a EPA rule. But it still cannot superceed the already envoked House Rule voted and passed back in February to block E15 and it's funding.

Is the EPA setting the ground work? Absolutely. Will they lobby and attampt to get the House Rule reversed or modified? Absolutely. But it hasn't happened yet.

You need to get up to date those articals are from february,I just saw a news cast that said it has been approved,now granted the news people normely get it wrong, and I hope that is the case!!

Granted it was from Feb. but the Bill was approved all the way out through the remainder of 2011. There has not been another Bill that squashes the one approved in February. The EPA cannot overide the House. Now what will happen in 2012 remains to be seen. I don't see 75 of the majotity that voted (238) to suddenly swing the other way. But strainger things have happened.

Bud yea I know what your saying, lets hope EPA cant, But OBAMA administration overrid congress and started a war and they cant seem to do anything about it, though they are trying.This administration would love nothing more than to burn the constution,they have gone with one power grab after another just like health care and something has to be done.
