Timmig on 280

Do you index the flywheel the same way as with 260 electronics? Find TDC rotate counter clockwise 150 thou and the set pointer at 25 degrese.

The timing on a 280 isnt adjustable. Its controlled by the ecu. All you can do is set the air gap (crank position sensor).

your welcome....but just outta curiousity, why were you worried about the timing?

I had a bad hole on my stock 280. I had a new 280 power head with 260 electronics with only 2 hours on my Ally drag. I have pulled the 280 power head off my drag and put it on my stock 280 for my Cougar. I put a strong 260 that I had back on the Ally.
