Guy I have gotten my hands on some 150 heads . Will they work on my 2.4 /200hp? Will they help with the performance of the motor? What would be the diference between these versus ordering a set from a reputable machine shop? sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn about the heads and the compression aspect of the motor . Thanks

If they are outside pattern head bolt style 2.0 heads they are a bolt on 140-145 lbs compression for your outside pattern 2.4.Inside pattern 2.0 and 2.4 will not have the same bolt pattern,Chris

Hey thanks for the information . Will 140-145lbs compression be enough change to notice any performance differences?

Very noticeable, and about all you can safely run on pump premium,be sure the motor can turn at least 6000 rpms, don't bog it down,Chris

The issue im talking about is that the 2.5 150 heads are about a 1/4 inch wider physically and they have to be cut down to fit a 2.4 or at least thats part of my experience if they are the 2.4 variety 1 or 2 pc heads no problem
